Mara Lee and Larry Sieve came to Destin/Ft Walton, Florida in 1978 and fell in love with the Emerald Coast. Over their many visits to these warm southern beaches, they discovered Maravilla Resort on their family vacation in 1999.

The four bedroom, 2 bath floor plan seemed perfect for their growing family of 5 children. In 2000, the "Mara Lee" home, located in Maravilla Resort, was built and it became their family vacation destination!

Over the years, Mara Lee and Larry have enjoyed many wonderful experiences with family and friends in Destin, Florida. The sweetest moments are walks along the sugar sand of Destin, feeling the gentle ocean breeze and seeing a glorious sunset across a windswept sky.

Mara Lee and Larry remember special vacations with their family and enjoy rediscovering Destin with each return. Several of Mara Lee and Larry's children are married now and Maravilla Resort has become even more important as the family's vacation rendezvous.

In May 2005, Mara Lee and Larry purchased a 2 bedroom 2 bath oceanfront Maravilla Resort condo. The Elizabeth Claire condo, suite 2302, has a wonderful direct view of the ocean and it is close to the oceanfront pool and beach access at Maravilla Resort.

Mara Lee invites you to come to Maravilla Resort and enjoy a wonderful vacation! Soon, you may find your own places of the heart on your family's vacation. It is music to a mother's ears, to hear the laughter of children as they delight in trying to chase a sandpiper on the beach or ask Daddy for help to build a sand castle. And, who can deny a moonlit kiss makes a journey to Destin more than a trip.

A family vacation can be an experience of the heart that never dies, only growing stronger and more precious with the passage of time.

• Maravilla Resort is family oriented. It is a relaxed resort community and it is less crowded than the downtown Destin area.

• Many folks enjoy the view of the ocean from the beachside pool at Maravilla Resort. Plus, another large pool is located by the clubhouse for a relaxing day of sun!

• Maravilla features “low rise condo buildings” as opposed to “high rise condo buildings.” Low rise condo buildings are more family friendly especially with small children and seniors. It is easy to walk to the pools and beach.

Beach service is provided from March through October. Maravilla Resort is conveniently located near the new Destin Commons where you will find lots of great shopping, new cinema theater, restaurants and the Silver Sands Outlet Mall.

Other attractions near Maravilla Resort are the Track Recreation Center for minigolf, go karts, and bumperboats. Night life at the Village of Bay Towne Wharf at Sandestin frequently offers fireworks and street music.

Charter fishing at Destin Harbor is very popular for the novice or experienced. Known as the "World's Luckiest Fishing Village," deep sea fishing is one of the specialties offered by  Destin's fishing fleet.

Many families enjoy a sunset cruise in search of friendly dolphins on the SEABLASTER, the world's largest speedboat.

Featured Favorite Recipe - Florida Frosty Fruit
1 ½ c. sugar 2 c. water  12 oz. can Florida orange juice   12 oz. can water l large can crushed pineapple with juice	4 bananas, mashed 1 (10 oz) frozen strawberries, thawed 1 large can sliced peaches with juice
In a very large container, stir all the ingredients together. Pour into smaller containers for family size or party portions. Freeze. Let it thaw until you can barely slice with knife or scoop with a serving spoon. Refreshingly delicious!
